PingWest products on July 23, quoted Lei Feng.com, security researcher of network security company UpGuard reported that more than 100 car manufacturers' confidential data was leaked, including General Motors, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen Wait. The source of the data leaks points to Level One Robotics, the common server provider for these depots, involving 47,000 confidential documents.
The leaked data includes a series of confidential information such as product design charts, consumer invoice contract information, and work development plans of the above-mentioned car manufacturer's detailed blueprint.
The above company uses a common file transfer protocol, rsync, for backing up large data sets. Since there is no security password protection set, users can access private data without access and connect to the rsync port. Any client has the right to download data. On July 10th, Level One took the off-line offline method to temporarily cut off the leaked path.
